Who We Are

My name’s Mea’eshana and along with my partner/husband/best friend Anhevius we’re the duo behind PhoenixFire Art Australia.

For as long as she’s been able to hold a pencil, Mea’s been drawing and doodling, and had never stopped a day since. Her dream was always to be a full time artist and recently she’s devoted herself to this dream, giving up 15 years of service  she’s throwing herself into Freelance Illustration full-time.

Inspired by Disney, Anime and Manga (particularly the work of Ozamu Tezuka, Elfen Lied, Full Metal Alchemist, Studio Ghibli, etc), Dark Horse Comics, Marvel, DC and more… she’s worked for years to blend it all into her own unique and detailed style that sets her work apart from the rest.

Back in 2001 Mea entered University of SA with the intention of covering the basics - painting, drawing, ceramics… and ended up taking a side-course in Digital Art. It was a medium she instantly fell in love with due to it’s flexibility and the evolution of technology over the years. It combines her love of illustration and her love of a growing playground that is the digital canvas.

Her program of choice is Clip Studio Paint, which she uses to make 3D layouts before using that as the base reference for her art, as well as utilize a range of brushes and tools to help give her work life and depth and detail. CSP also allows her to create animated images such as emotes and stickers for use on her Twitch channel and Discord Server, which are created through traditional animation cel techniques.

In 2001 she met Anhevius online and they’ve been in constant contact every day since, even after he moved from the United States to South Australia over a decade ago he’s been her number one supporter and helps her run this growing business from home.

Every time you contact PhoenixFire Art, you are speaking to one of these two people directly… no message services or customer service representatives here. Just two people passionate about what they do and bringing it to the world at large.
